Hyeri has shared a heartfelt message following the finale of ENA’s Dream to You, expressing her hope that the drama will remain meaningful to viewers long after its ending.
The 12-episode series concluded on August 18, with Hyeri playing Joo Yi Jae, a reporter who gradually reconnects with a dream she had set aside.
Throughout the drama, Hyeri portrayed her character across different stages of life, from her teenage years to her 30s. The role allowed her to show both the hopeful side of a young woman chasing her dreams and the more realistic struggles of adulthood.
Following the finale, Hyeri thanked viewers for staying with the series and reflected on how meaningful the project became to her.
She said, “Thank you to all the viewers who loved ‘Dream to You.’ I was also happy to be able to go through Yi Jae’s journey of finding her dream together with her.”
Hyeri admitted that saying goodbye to the drama became more difficult as filming approached its end.
She continued, “As the final day of filming got closer, I felt more and more sad that it was ending.”
The actress then shared her biggest hope for the drama after its conclusion.
Hyeri said, “‘Dream to You’ is very precious to me, and I hope it will remain in your memories for a long time and become a drama you occasionally want to take out and watch again.”
Her message focused on the lasting connection she hopes viewers will keep with the story and its characters even after the final episode.
Following Dream to You, Hyeri is set to continue her activities as an MC on Disney’s upcoming original variety show Style Wars, scheduled to be released later this year.
