BIGBANG member G-Dragon has revealed that he shares a surprisingly close friendship with Epik High’s DJ Tukutz, explaining that the two connect through a similar sense of humor.
On August 20, Epik High released a new episode of Epikase titled Family Gathering ft. BIGBANG, featuring G-Dragon, Taeyang, and Daesung.
During the casual conversation, DJ Tukutz recalled spending time alone with G-Dragon during a trip to Malaysia.
He said, “When we went to Malaysia, I drank with him in a hotel room.”
Tablo reacted with surprise and asked, “Just you and Jiyong, the two of you?”
G-Dragon quickly confirmed their friendship, saying, “I’m really close with him.”
DJ Tukutz jokingly added, “It’s not just me following him around. He likes me too.”
Tukutz explained that they had attended an event in Malaysia and ate together afterward. According to him, G-Dragon later suggested that they continue hanging out over drinks.
G-Dragon then revealed why the two naturally get along.
He said, “When the two of us are together, our sense of humor is really similar.”
Their night reportedly included drinking and playing games together. Tukutz recalled winning one of their drinking games, which led to G-Dragon promoting Epik High’s album on social media.
Tukutz said, “I won, so he posted about our album on his social media.”
G-Dragon jokingly responded, “So that was the post you wrote after getting me drunk?”
Tukutz immediately denied it and replied, “No, you wrote it.”
The playful exchange highlighted the comfortable chemistry between G-Dragon and DJ Tukutz and gave fans a glimpse into a friendship that has continued beyond their years as fellow artists connected through YG Entertainment.
