• Son Suk Ku Gets Real About His Ex Dating Someone New Right After Their Breakup—Admits He Got Mad Even Though He Ended It First

Actor Son Suk Ku shared a personal story about his past relationship, and fans can't stop talking about it!

On February 25, Son Suk Ku appeared as the "Male Lead of the Month" on the YouTube channel Yoo In Na’s Radio, where he reacted to a breakup story that hit a little too close to home.

A listener shared how, after ending a five-year relationship, their ex posted a couple ring photo with a new partner just a month later.

Playing the role of the ex-boyfriend, Son Suk Ku responded, "Did I act well? I think I did because I really relate to this story."

Surprisingly, he then revealed he had been in a similar situation! "I was actually the one who suggested breaking up. We met abroad, but I returned to Korea, and we broke up after a long-distance relationship."

He added, "We agreed to stay friends, but then I found out my ex was seeing someone new. I got really mad at her over video chat, saying, ‘Isn’t this a bit too much?’"

Hearing this, Yoo In Na playfully called him out, saying, "But you were the one who wanted to break up?" Son Suk Ku laughed and admitted, "Yeah, this really feels like my own story."

Curious about his thoughts, Yoo In Na asked, "How long should someone wait before dating again out of respect?" Son Suk Ku replied, "I think it's best not to make it too obvious to your ex, but at the same time, you have to move on at some point."

He even came up with a “breakup timeline” rule, saying, "If you dated for two years, wait two months. If it was three years, wait three months." Yoo In Na immediately named it the ‘Son Suk Ku Law’!

Later in the show, another juicy story was shared about a woman who suspected her boyfriend of lying after he disappeared for a day.

His excuse? He was at the hospital because his mother collapsed—but his sister’s social media posts told a different story.

Son Suk Ku commented, "There’s a chance he was doing something suspicious. But if you start thinking that being deceived means you’re losing out, the relationship becomes hard to maintain."

He added, "Even so, if you care about the person, you should try to trust them. But if the doubts keep growing, you’ll only make yourself miserable."

Yoo In Na then asked, "You sound like you have a healthy mindset about relationships. But you must have made some foolish mistakes too, right?"

Laughing, Son Suk Ku confessed, "Of course! With age comes experience. I’ve been wrongly accused before, and once I came home to find all my stuff smashed. When you’re young and love passionately, you don’t really know how to handle things."

His honest confessions had fans loving his candid side even more! What do you think of his ‘Son Suk Ku Law’?

  • Lee Jun Young says he felt guilty and cried after acting mean to a grandma in 'Brave Citizen'

Lee Jun Young recently opened up about the emotional toll of playing a villain—and how one powerful scene made him break down in tears behind the scenes.

On the May 1st episode of KBS 2TV’s variety show Problem Child in House, Lee Jun Young appeared alongside co-star Jung Eun Ji to promote their new KBS drama Pump Up the Healthy Love.

During the show, Lee Jun Young was asked about the most unforgettable villain he’s played. He chose his role as Han Su Gang in the film Brave Citizen.

He explained, “It was really tough to film. I had to act like I was leading school violence, and there was even a scene where I bullied a grandmother.”

The hosts were surprised, pointing out how kind and gentle he seems in real life. Lee Jun Young shared how he transforms for such roles.

“I try to act as bad as I can, but sometimes the director says, ‘You still look too nice.’ Then I focus even harder and adjust right away.”

He also revealed that filming one particular scene hit him hard emotionally. “My real grandmother was sick at the time,” he said.

“In one scene, there’s a grandma selling gimbap, and I ad-libbed by stubbing a cigarette out on the gimbap. I was really into character, but after filming, I just broke down. So many thoughts came to me and I started crying.”

Fans praised his dedication to acting but also felt moved by how deeply the role affected him. Lee Jun Young’s honesty gave a raw look at how even fictional roles can hit close to home.
