BIGBANG’s long absence from SBS’s Running Man became a topic of discussion after Yoo Jae Suk and HaHa revisited G-Dragon’s difficult experience on the show.
During the September 6 broadcast, HaHa appeared wearing a BIGBANG T shirt after attending the group’s recent concert. He also thanked Yoo Jae Suk for helping promote his fan concert through their previous content together.
The conversation soon turned to BIGBANG’s possible return to Running Man. HaHa looked toward the camera and said, “BIGBANG, please come on the show once.”
When Ji Suk Jin asked why the group had not appeared again, Yoo Jae Suk recalled BIGBANG’s previous appearance. “G Dragon had a really hard time back then. It was a bit much,” he admitted.
HaHa then jokingly added, “GD has bad memories,” referring to the famous mudflat challenge from BIGBANG’s 2015 full group appearance on Running Man. At the time, the members took part in physically demanding games in the mud.
BIGBANG has not returned to the program in about 10 years. However, the cast’s comments were made in a lighthearted conversation, and they did not confirm whether the group has plans to appear on the show again.
HaHa repeated his invitation by saying, “I miss BIGBANG. Please come on the show once,” while the program’s captions suggested that the cast would be ready to welcome them back.
