Singer and radio DJ Lee Sang Soon has explained his recent absence from MBC FM4U’s A Perfect Day with Lee Sang Soon.
On September 6, Lee Sang Soon apologized to listeners for taking a break without giving an earlier explanation. He said he suddenly felt unwell last Wednesday and later underwent several tests and consultations.
According to Lee Sang Soon, medical staff advised him to rest because of a nervous system symptom described as “reduced vagal nerve function.” He added that he is still waiting for more detailed test results.
“I am taking a break and resting because medical staff recommended that I stabilize my condition,” he explained.
Lee Sang Soon also said that his condition may gradually improve with enough rest. He plans to take the necessary time to fully recover before returning to the program.
“I will carefully check my overall health, recover properly, and return to you in good health,” he wrote. He also asked fans not to worry and said, “Please wait a little longer. I will see you again in good health soon.”
Lee Sang Soon had been absent from the radio show for several days, leading to concerns about his health. He briefly appeared on August 26 after initially missing the opening due to what was described as poor condition. However, he was later absent again from August 30 through September 5.
The issue remains related to Lee Sang Soon’s health, and he has not announced a confirmed date for his return.
