BTS’s Jin created a lighthearted moment for fans after sharing photos from a fishing trip during his stay in Los Angeles.

While in the United States for BTS’s ARIRANG world tour, Jin posted fishing photos on Instagram and Weverse on September 5. He also showed fans a raw fish rice bowl he made after the trip, encouraging them to try the dish.

After posing with several fish, including a large halibut, Jin joked, “Why does it always look like a composite image after I catch it?”

He later gave fans an unexpected confession in the comments.

“To be honest, I did not catch that huge halibut,” Jin admitted.

Jin used the other fish to prepare a raw fish rice bowl and recommended it to fans by writing, “There is a dish called hwe-deopbap in Korea. It is delicious. Please try it, everyone!”

Fans responded by making their own versions of the dish and sharing photos online. Another BTS member also posted a hwe-deopbap photo with Jin’s Super Tuna playing in the background, jokingly referring to it as a dish made with fish Jin had caught.

The playful fishing story gave fans a fun update as BTS prepared for the third and fourth Los Angeles concerts at SoFi Stadium on September 6 and 7 in Korea time.
