Actress Lee Young Ae made a jaw-dropping appearance at the 2024 KBS Drama Awards, leaving fellow actors in complete surprise!

On January 11, KBS 2TV aired the 2024 KBS Drama Awards, which was initially supposed to be live on December 31 but was pre-recorded due to the national mourning period following the Jeju Air plane disaster.

Lee Young Ae made a special appearance to present the Popularity Award, and her entrance immediately caught everyone’s attention.

As she greeted the audience with, "It’s been a while since I’ve greeted you at the KBS Drama Awards," the camera focused on actor Kim Myung Soo’s shocked reaction.

Kim Myung Soo was seen with his mouth slightly open in awe, which caused the audience to burst into laughter.

Host Jang Sung Kyu couldn’t help but comment, “You look very surprised!” To which Lee Young Ae responded with a smile, “It’s been a long time since I’ve been here, so I’m a bit nervous.”

In addition to her appearance, Lee Young Ae also promoted her upcoming KBS 2TV drama Eun Soo’s Good Day, set to air in 2025.

The drama will be a human thriller about a woman in her 40s caring for her sick husband. When she finds discarded drugs, it sets off a chain of unexpected events.

On January 14, GFRIEND’s special album Season of Memories took the top spot on the Hanteo Chart, debuting at No. 1 on the daily album chart as of January 13. The excitement is palpable as the group marks a decade since their debut!

The title track, "우리의 다정한 계절 속에 (Season of Memories)," has been gaining steady traction. Released on January 6, it steadily climbed the charts, even reaching No. 7 on Bugs' real-time chart by 8 AM on January 14.

But that's not all—GFRIEND has been breaking records and earning even more love from their fans. Their appearance on Dingo Music's Killing Voice is now the third most-viewed video of 2024, a huge accomplishment considering the episode was released in December last year!

In addition to the new album, GFRIEND is going all out with their 10th-anniversary celebrations. They've been planning for months with Source Music, offering fans new songs, music show appearances, and even a solo tour across multiple cities in Asia.

GFRIEND will kick off their GFRIEND 10th Anniversary "Season of Memories" concert in Seoul from January 17–19 at the Olympic Hall. After that, they’re taking the excitement on the road, with an Asian tour hitting Osaka, Yokohama, Hong Kong, Kaohsiung, and Taipei in March.
