    Kim Go Eun has won the Best Actress award at the 45th Blue Dragon Film Awards for her role in Exhuma.

    On November 29, Kim Go Eun was honored at the 45th Blue Dragon Film Awards, held at KBS Hall in Yeouido, Seoul.

    She took home the Best Actress trophy for her remarkable performance in the hit film Exhuma, which reached over 10 million viewers.

    Standing on stage to accept her award, Kim Go Eun expressed her gratitude, saying, “I’m really thankful to director Jang Jae Hyun for trusting me with the role of Hwarim. "

    She added, "I was excited to act in this film. It was such an honor to work alongside veteran actors like Choi Min Sik and Yoo Hae Jin, and even Do Hyun, who is serving in the military. I will cherish these memories forever."

    She continued with heartfelt thanks, mentioning her family, stylist, and the BH Entertainment family. "I owe everything to them. I just want to tell them I love them."

    Kim Go Eun also took a moment to reflect on her early career, recalling her win for Best New Actress for Eungyo.

    "Winning that award feels so special to me," she shared. "It reminded me of when I won the Best New Actress award for Eungyo—a time when director Jung Ji Woo supported me and introduced me as an actress. Her love and care have allowed me to grow so much in my acting journey."

    Finally, Kim Go Eun expressed her deep love for acting. "Acting brings me so much joy, even though it's tough at times. I’m grateful every day for being able to do what I love. I’ll keep striving to be a better actor in the future."

    Lee Jun Young recently opened up about the emotional toll of playing a villain—and how one powerful scene made him break down in tears behind the scenes.

    On the May 1st episode of KBS 2TV’s variety show Problem Child in House, Lee Jun Young appeared alongside co-star Jung Eun Ji to promote their new KBS drama Pump Up the Healthy Love.

    During the show, Lee Jun Young was asked about the most unforgettable villain he’s played. He chose his role as Han Su Gang in the film Brave Citizen.

    He explained, “It was really tough to film. I had to act like I was leading school violence, and there was even a scene where I bullied a grandmother.”

    The hosts were surprised, pointing out how kind and gentle he seems in real life. Lee Jun Young shared how he transforms for such roles.

    “I try to act as bad as I can, but sometimes the director says, ‘You still look too nice.’ Then I focus even harder and adjust right away.”

    He also revealed that filming one particular scene hit him hard emotionally. “My real grandmother was sick at the time,” he said.

    “In one scene, there’s a grandma selling gimbap, and I ad-libbed by stubbing a cigarette out on the gimbap. I was really into character, but after filming, I just broke down. So many thoughts came to me and I started crying.”

    Fans praised his dedication to acting but also felt moved by how deeply the role affected him. Lee Jun Young’s honesty gave a raw look at how even fictional roles can hit close to home.
