• ILLIT’s Wonhee Takes Matters into Her Own Hands, Deletes Malicious Comments During Recent Live Stream

In the midst of the ongoing feud between HYBE and ADOR, ILLIT’s Wonhee has found herself in the crossfire.

The young artist recently took a stand against online slander during a live stream, raising concerns about the amount of negativity these young girls have to face.

ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin had previously expressed her concern for the well-being of the young artists, both NewJeans and ILLIT, stating during her press conference that “The children are not at fault. It is with the adults.” Unfortunately, her fears have come true as both NewJeans and ILLIT have been facing indiscriminate malicious comments and slander online.

ILLIT, in particular, has been labeled as NewJeans’ copycats” ever since their debut. This criticism has intensified as the HYBE-ADOR feud continues to escalate.

Recently, a video of ILLIT member Wonhee deleting malicious comments during a live stream went viral. Korean netizens were quick to comment:

“During the 50th-day anniversary live broadcast, there were so many malicious comments that she was deleting them herself. It’s really surprising to put so much effort into leaving malicious comments during a live broadcast.”

“Even CEO Min Hee Jin mentioned during the press conference, ‘What’s the fault of these kids? It’s the fault of the adults,’ but now the public is starting to criticize ILLIT after criticizing Min Hee Jin, which is really ironic and disgusting.”

“But when I looked, it seemed like a lot of negativity is sticking to Wonhee now. They look the same as before, She hasn’t done anything wrong, there’s no past controversies, she’s just cute, yet negativity seems to be sticking to them particularly strongly.”

“I don’t like HYBE and I do cheer on for NewJeans but then people are attacking the wrong target. The biggest issue is HYBE and its cult involvement and the people behind HYBE are suspicious. People shouldn’t be attacking ILLIT.”

Stay tuned for more updates on this issue.

On the May 1st episode of KBS 2TV’s variety show Problem Child in House, Lee Jun Young appeared alongside co-star Jung Eun Ji to promote their new KBS drama Pump Up the Healthy Love.

During the show, Lee Jun Young was asked about the most unforgettable villain he’s played. He chose his role as Han Su Gang in the film Brave Citizen.

He explained, “It was really tough to film. I had to act like I was leading school violence, and there was even a scene where I bullied a grandmother.”

The hosts were surprised, pointing out how kind and gentle he seems in real life. Lee Jun Young shared how he transforms for such roles.

“I try to act as bad as I can, but sometimes the director says, ‘You still look too nice.’ Then I focus even harder and adjust right away.”

“In one scene, there’s a grandma selling gimbap, and I ad-libbed by stubbing a cigarette out on the gimbap. I was really into character, but after filming, I just broke down. So many thoughts came to me and I started crying.”
