Hyun Bin and Woo Do Hwan are drawing attention for their surprisingly warm off-screen chemistry, which looks very different from the tense relationship between their characters in Made in Korea.

On August 18, Daily Fashion News shared a video of the two actors taking part in the popular online “when someone messes with your younger brother” meme.

Wearing matching leather jackets, Hyun Bin first placed his arm around Woo Do Hwan’s shoulder and playfully acted like a protective older brother.

Given the scenario “when someone messes with Hyun Bin’s younger brother,” he said, “How dare you mess with my younger brother?”

Woo Do Hwan responded warmly, “If I had an older brother like you, senior, I would feel really reassured.”

The two then recreated the same situation while staying in character from Made in Korea.

Hyun Bin quickly changed his expression and introduced himself as his character Baek Ki Tae before saying, “I’m Baek Ki Tae, acting director of the Korean Central Intelligence Agency. How dare you mess with my younger brother?”

Woo Do Hwan jokingly replied, “I’ll take care of it myself.”

The playful exchange highlighted the contrast between their serious on-screen dynamic and their relaxed friendship behind the scenes. Hyun Bin was seen casually putting his arm around Woo Do Hwan while the two joked together between takes.

Meanwhile, Hyun Bin and Woo Do Hwan will return in Made in Korea Season 2, which is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ on September 9, with two episodes released each week.
