Actor Ahn Jae Wook shared a funny story about competing against BIGBANG's Taeyang in a running race during their children's kindergarten sports day.

On the November 4 broadcast of MBC's "Radio Star", Ahn Jae Wook revealed that he and Taeyang are parents at the same kindergarten.

*“Taeyang and I have children attending the same kindergarten. We ended up in the same group during the fathers' running race,”* he explained.

When the hosts asked whether Taeyang had lost a shoe while running, Ahn Jae Wook quickly corrected them.

*“I was the one whose shoe came off,”* he admitted.

He then described just how fast Taeyang was during the competition.

*“Taeyang was so fast that his shoes didn't even have time to come off. He just ran there and back in an instant. All I could see was his back,”* Ahn Jae Wook joked.

The actor added that although he considers himself a fairly fast runner for his age, he could not keep up with the BIGBANG member.

Ahn Jae Wook also shared how embarrassing it can be to participate in school activities as a celebrity parent.

According to him, event organizers sometimes recognize him and ask him to demonstrate activities in front of the other parents.

*“They ask for one father to come forward, and when we make eye contact, they say, 'Oh, a famous dad is here. Please come out,'”* he recalled.

When asked about his final result in the race, Ahn Jae Wook proudly revealed that he finished third out of five participants.

However, host Jang Do Yeon jokingly questioned his claim.

*“I heard from Taeyang that you came in last,”* she said.

Ahn Jae Wook immediately defended himself with a humorous explanation.

*“Taeyang doesn't know who was behind him. I could see the people running ahead of me, so I know,”* he replied.

His response brought laughter as he insisted that his third-place finish was accurate.

The story offered a lighthearted glimpse into the two celebrities' lives as fathers, with Ahn Jae Wook admitting that Taeyang's speed was simply too much for him during their unexpected school sports day competition.
