BTS member Jimin became the inspiration for a Halloween costume worn by popular Brazilian streamer Coringa, drawing attention to their friendship following a gaming session in Brazil.
Coringa, a Brazilian content creator and co-owner of esports organization LOUD, dressed up as Jimin for Halloween after previously spending time with the singer during BTS' visit to Brazil.
The streamer, who has around 16 million Instagram followers, recreated Jimin's look with a gray wig, hat, and sunglasses.
His girlfriend, Brazilian singer and influencer Tainá Costa, joined the Halloween celebration dressed as Kylie Jenner. She later shared a photo of the two on Instagram Stories with the caption, *"Kylie & Jimin."*
The costume attracted attention because Coringa and Jimin had already met in person.
During Jimin's visit to Brazil, the BTS member spent time playing games with Coringa at LOUD's gaming space.
Following their meeting, Coringa shared that he was impressed by Jimin's friendly behavior, particularly how the singer personally greeted each staff member.
Their connection continued when Coringa attended a BTS concert in Brazil. While enjoying the performance, he enthusiastically shouted, *"My friend!"* toward Jimin.
Coringa's decision to dress as Jimin for Halloween brought renewed attention to their friendly interactions and showed how their meeting had left a lasting impression on the Brazilian streamer.
Meanwhile, BTS recently completed the South American leg of their tour and is scheduled to begin the Asian leg on November 19 in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.
