Actor Lee Jong Suk recently opened up about his concerns over his body fat percentage and the challenge of maintaining his preferred physique, especially when fans often tell him they like his slim appearance.
On November 3, Lee Jong Suk appeared on the YouTube variety show *Salon Drip*, hosted by comedian Jang Do Yeon, where he spoke candidly about his eating habits and fitness concerns.
During their conversation, Lee Jong Suk admitted that he has a habit of eating dessert after meals, even though he does not particularly love sweets.
*“I don't actually like desserts that much, but whenever I finish eating, I feel like I absolutely have to have dessert,”* he explained.
Jang Do Yeon then mentioned that Lee Jong Suk probably needed to be careful with his diet because he always seemed to be maintaining his appearance for work.
However, Lee Jong Suk surprised her by revealing the results of a recent body composition test.
*“I recently had an InBody test for the first time in a really long time, and my body fat percentage was much higher than I expected,”* he shared.
He jokingly described himself as being far from his best physical condition.
*“So I'm completely in my off-season right now. I don't even know what to do,”* he admitted.
Lee Jong Suk also explained that building muscle through exercise was not necessarily an easy decision for him because of the feedback he receives from fans.
*“When I work out and build up my body, fans don't really like it,”* he said.
He added that he often hears comments such as, *“You look better when you're slim.”*
His remarks highlighted the challenge of balancing his personal fitness goals with the appearance that fans have come to associate with him.
Although Lee Jong Suk expressed concern about his recent body composition results, he did not reveal his exact body fat percentage or share a specific fitness plan.
The actor's candid comments on *Salon Drip* offered viewers a glimpse into his everyday habits and how fan preferences can influence the way he thinks about maintaining his physique.
