BTS has achieved another major international milestone as their fifth full-length album, *ARIRANG*, became the first album by a K-pop artist to receive Platinum certification from the Italian Music Industry Federation (FIMI).
According to the latest certification results, *ARIRANG* earned Platinum status after reaching 50,000 equivalent album units in Italy. The total includes physical album sales, digital downloads, and streaming figures converted into album-equivalent units.
The achievement comes approximately six months after *ARIRANG* received Gold certification in April, showing the album's continued popularity in the Italian music market.
Before this milestone, BTS had already earned Gold certifications in Italy with several albums, including *LOVE YOURSELF 結 'Answer'*, *MAP OF THE SOUL : PERSONA*, *MAP OF THE SOUL : 7*, *BE*, and *Proof*.
Beyond its success in Italy, *ARIRANG* continues to maintain a strong presence on the US Billboard charts.
On the Billboard 200 chart dated November 7, the album ranked No. 57, extending its run to 32 consecutive weeks since its release in March.
It also secured No. 25 on Billboard's Top Album Sales chart.
Meanwhile, the album's title track, *SWIM*, continued performing well on Billboard's international song rankings.
The song placed No. 33 on the Billboard Global 200 and No. 13 on the Billboard Global Excl. US chart. It also re-entered the Adult Contemporary chart at No. 29.
BTS recently completed the South American leg of their *BTS WORLD TOUR 'ARIRANG'*, including performances at Morumbi Stadium in São Paulo on October 28, 30, and 31.
The South American tour attracted approximately 853,000 concertgoers across 14 sold-out shows in five cities.
The group is now preparing for the Southeast Asian leg of the tour, which will begin in Kaohsiung in November before continuing to Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, and Jakarta in December.
