Son Suk Ku and Park Bo Young are officially teaming up for the first time as a married couple in the upcoming fantasy romantic comedy Kiss For Tomorrow, bringing together two popular Korean stars in an unusual love story.
On November 2, film distributor and investor NEW confirmed that Son Suk Ku and Park Bo Young had joined the cast of director Kang Hyeong Cheol's new film, also titled If I'm With You in Korean.
The company also announced that filming officially began on October 31.
Kiss For Tomorrow follows a mysterious married couple who must kiss once every day to make it to the next day. However, their unusual relationship faces an unexpected challenge when they become separated during a cruise vacation.

The film combines romance, fantasy, comedy, and time-loop elements as the couple struggles to reunite and share the kiss they desperately need.
Son Suk Ku will play Ji Kyung, a devoted husband who fell in love with his wife at first sight and continues to adore her.
During their cruise trip, Ji Kyung unexpectedly becomes separated from his wife and finds himself alone in an unfamiliar place. Determined to return to her, he begins a difficult journey filled with unexpected situations.
Park Bo Young will play Oh Sung, his cheerful and energetic wife, who remains aboard the cruise ship while doing everything she can to reunite with her husband.
The casting marks the first time Son Suk Ku and Park Bo Young will work together, raising anticipation for their on-screen chemistry as a married couple.
Another highlight is Park Bo Young's reunion with director Kang Hyeong Cheol, 18 years after they worked together on the hit film Scandal Makers.
The 2008 movie helped establish Park Bo Young as a rising star and earned her widespread recognition.
Director Kang Hyeong Cheol, known for films including Sunny, Tazza: The Hidden Card, Swing Kids, and Hi-Five, will also be directing a romance-centered film for the first time.
The upcoming project will combine his signature humor and energetic storytelling with a romantic adventure built around the unusual idea of a daily kiss.
Filming will take place in South Korea and overseas locations, including Singapore and Thailand, with a large cruise ship and scenic destinations serving as major settings.
Speaking about beginning production, director Kang Hyeong Cheol shared his excitement.
"As time passes, every film becomes more precious to me. I will treasure the experience of starting this production and do my best to bring audiences an enjoyable experience," he said.
With Son Suk Ku and Park Bo Young officially confirmed as the lead couple and production already underway, Kiss For Tomorrow is drawing attention for its fresh pairing and unusual romantic storyline.
The film's official theatrical release date has not yet been announced.
