Park Hae Jin is preparing to show a different side of himself in SBS's upcoming drama Good Partner 2, where he will play a successful divorce lawyer who also uses YouTube to build his reputation.

On November 2, SBS released the first still cuts of Park Hae Jin as Park Tae Soo, a lawyer determined to become the top name in the divorce law industry.

In Good Partner 2, Park Hae Jin plays the head of Tae Soo Law Firm, who has gained public attention through his YouTube channel, Lawfully Tae Soo, which has 200,000 subscribers.

Unlike traditional lawyers, Park Tae Soo combines his legal knowledge with strong business skills and social media influence to attract clients and grow his firm.

His biggest competitor is Cha Eun Kyung, played by Jang Nara, the leading divorce lawyer at Rebom Law Firm. The two will compete to establish themselves as the top divorce lawyer.

Park Tae Soo believes that "being a lawyer is a service job," putting his clients' interests first while using his understanding of people to achieve favorable results.

The newly released photos show Park Hae Jin's character confidently meeting clients with a friendly smile. However, his serious expression inside the courtroom reveals a more aggressive side when it comes to winning cases.

Speaking about his decision to join the second season, Park Hae Jin shared that he was already interested in the drama after enjoying its first season.

"I enjoyed watching the first season, so I was excited when I heard there would be a second season. When I received a good offer, I gladly accepted it," he said.

However, the actor admitted that joining an already successful series came with some pressure.

"There was some pressure joining a successful drama as a new character, but Tae Soo was interesting, and I thought I could show a different side of myself through him," he explained.

Park Hae Jin also described Park Tae Soo as one of the most realistic characters in Good Partner 2.

"A lawyer is a legal professional, but also a businessperson. Tae Soo is also a YouTuber, so he makes choices that fit an era where promoting yourself is important," he said.

Despite Park Tae Soo's competitive personality, Park Hae Jin revealed that the character will also bring some humor and lighter moments to the drama.

"Tae Soo is like a breathing space in a story that can sometimes become serious. I wanted him to feel more relaxed and human," he shared.

He added, "I think his slightly cute and playful personality will be part of his charm."

Meanwhile, Good Partner 2 follows divorce lawyers Cha Eun Kyung (Jang Nara) and Kang Hye Sung (Kim Hye Yoon) as they work together on complicated divorce cases while facing personal and professional challenges.

The upcoming season also stars Pyo Ji Hoon and brings back writer Choi Yoo Na, a divorce lawyer who previously worked on the first season. Director Seo Min Jung will lead the production.

With Park Hae Jin joining as a YouTube-savvy lawyer determined to challenge Jang Nara's character, Good Partner 2 is expected to introduce a new rivalry when it premieres on November 20 at 9:50 PM KST on SBS.
