BTS member Jimin's birthday has inspired fans around the world to support environmental conservation and animal welfare, with projects ranging from planting trees in Mexico to helping protect wildlife in several countries.
To celebrate Jimin's birthday on October 13, international ARMY communities organized activities focused on protecting nature, restoring ecosystems, and supporting animals in need.
Rather than limiting their celebrations to traditional birthday events, fans turned the occasion into an opportunity to make a positive contribution to the environment.
One of the major initiatives took place in Mexico, where Jimin's Latin American fans launched a conservation project called Grow with Jimin.
As part of the project, supporters planted 100 pine trees in Patamban, Mexico, to help restore the local environment.

The trees, identified as Devonian pines in the report, were chosen to represent hope, growth, and a better future for younger generations.
Fans explained that the project was designed to become a meaningful birthday gift that would continue growing over time.
Mexican fans also supported the symbolic adoption of a Pacific humpback whale as part of their efforts to promote marine wildlife conservation.
Explaining their motivation, the fans shared a message about the influence Jimin has had on their approach to helping others.
"Jimin taught us that love can travel far through music and kindness, connect people, and inspire us to share something good with the world," they said.
They added, "That love also embraces the ocean."
The conservation activities were accompanied by donations of food and supplies for kittens, extending the birthday celebration to animal welfare efforts.
Meanwhile, Jimin's fans in Argentina continued their support for environmental protection organizations.
The fan community announced plans to support Aves Argentinas, an organization dedicated to protecting wild birds and natural habitats, for another year.
They also expressed plans to participate in the Bosques de Agua initiative, which focuses on restoring highland ecosystems and watersheds in Argentina's Sierras de Córdoba region.
In Switzerland, fans contributed to the PanEco Foundation's Berg am Irchel bird of prey sanctuary, which supports the protection and care of birds of prey.
Portuguese fans also joined the conservation efforts by beginning a sponsorship for an African penguin at Lisbon Zoo.
The species is threatened with extinction, making conservation and awareness efforts especially important.
In Türkiye, fans donated animal food to an abandoned animal shelter in Ankara known as ankarapatiliky, supporting the care of animals without permanent homes.
Together, these projects show how Jimin's international fan communities used his birthday to support different environmental and animal welfare causes.
The activities also reflect the growing interest among K-pop fan communities in organizing charitable projects connected to their favorite artists.
From tree planting and marine conservation to wildlife protection and shelter donations, the celebrations reached several countries and supported different causes.
While Jimin's birthday falls on October 13, the projects were designed to have an impact beyond the celebration itself.
Through Grow with Jimin and other initiatives, fans have turned their appreciation for the BTS member into efforts aimed at protecting animals, restoring natural habitats, and supporting a healthier environment for future generations.
