South Korean star couple Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin are set to make a rare public appearance together at the upcoming Blue Dragon Film Awards handprinting ceremony, following their historic achievements as Best Actor and Best Actress winners.
According to an announcement on October 20, the organizers of the 47th Blue Dragon Film Awards will hold a special handprinting ceremony on November 3 at 2 PM KST at CGV Yongsan I'Park Mall in Seoul.
The event will bring together six actors who received major acting awards at the 46th Blue Dragon Film Awards in November 2025.
Among them, Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin are expected to attract particular attention as a married couple who both won the top acting honors at last year's ceremony.
Hyun Bin received the Best Actor award for his performance in the historical film Harbin, where he portrayed Korean independence activist Ahn Jung Geun.
His performance highlighted the character's strong beliefs and personal struggles during a difficult period in Korean history.
Meanwhile, Son Ye Jin won Best Actress for her role in No Other Choice, in which she portrayed Mi Ri, a woman trying to protect her family's everyday life after her husband loses his job.
Their individual victories made the 2025 Blue Dragon Film Awards especially memorable, as both members of the celebrity couple were recognized for their performances in separate films.
Now, the upcoming handprinting ceremony will give fans another opportunity to see the two actors attending an official entertainment event together.
The ceremony is a traditional event connected to the Blue Dragon Film Awards, allowing previous winners to commemorate their achievements through handprints.
Alongside Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin, fellow award winners Lee Sung Min, Park Ji Hyun, Ahn Bo Hyun, and Kim Do Yeon will also attend.
Lee Sung Min received the Best Supporting Actor award for No Other Choice, while Park Ji Hyun won Best Supporting Actress for Hidden Face.
Both actors earned their first Blue Dragon Film Awards trophies through their respective performances.
Ahn Bo Hyun, who starred in Pretty Crazy, received the Best New Actor award for his role as Gil Goo.
Kim Do Yeon was recognized with the Best New Actress award for her performance in Amoeba Girls and School Ghost Stories: Anniversary of the School Opening, a film that combines horror and comedy.
The six actors will reunite at the November 3 ceremony to celebrate their achievements ahead of this year's main awards event.
For Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin, the occasion is particularly meaningful because it brings them together publicly following their separate acting victories.
Although both have maintained successful individual careers, their joint appearances at major entertainment events have drawn considerable interest from fans.
The couple's attendance also highlights their continued presence in South Korea's film industry, with both receiving recognition for their recent movie performances.
Meanwhile, the 47th Blue Dragon Film Awards is scheduled to take place on November 25 at KBS Hall in Yeouido, Seoul.
With Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin confirmed to attend the handprinting ceremony, attention is turning to their upcoming appearance as two of the previous year's biggest acting award winners.
