BIGHIT MUSIC's boy group CORTIS has drawn attention over two separate issues involving criticism of their live singing and a Weverse post that appeared to contain instructions from an agency staff member.
According to a Newsen report on October 18, CORTIS member Martin accidentally included what appeared to be an approval message from the agency in a post celebrating the group's milestone of 7 million Weverse community members.
On October 15, Martin shared a photo and a message thanking fans for their continued support.
However, the beginning of his post contained an unusual sentence that appeared unrelated to his message for fans.
The opening line read, "Yes, confirmed. Please upload just this one photo with the caption below!"
The message was followed by a more personal note celebrating the group's growing fan community.

Martin wrote, "Everyone, thank you so much for reaching 7 million Weverse community members! Let's continue communicating often and getting along well! I love you, COERs!"
The first sentence attracted attention because it appeared to be an instruction sent by a BIGHIT MUSIC staff member before the post was published.
Martin later removed the apparent instruction from his Weverse post.
The incident received mixed reactions from fans and online users.
Some fans found the mistake amusing and described it as a harmless accident.
Others questioned whether the agency was preparing or reviewing even short messages intended for direct communication with fans.
However, the original post does not establish who wrote the fan message or how much involvement the agency had in preparing it.
The Weverse incident comes after CORTIS previously received criticism over their live performance on KBS2's Music Bank in Barcelona.
The group performed at the event on September 12, with the recorded broadcast airing on October 7.
Following the broadcast, some viewers criticized the members' live vocals, particularly their pitch accuracy during the performance.
The criticism sparked discussion about the group's singing abilities during live stages.
Separately, CORTIS had also faced complaints about the setlist for their solo concerts held at Inspire Arena in Incheon on July 18 and 19.
These earlier discussions were unrelated to Martin's recent Weverse posting mistake, but they have resurfaced as the group receives renewed attention online.
CORTIS, consisting of Martin, James, Juhun, Seonghyeon, and Keonho, released their second mini album GREENGREEN in May.
While the group continues to connect with fans through performances and social media, the latest Weverse incident has raised questions among some online users about how idol agencies manage artists' public messages.
