RESCENE has taken the top spot in the September 2026 idol group brand reputation rankings, placing ahead of BTS and BLACKPINK.
According to the Korean Business Research Institute’s latest analysis released on September 16, RESCENE ranked No. 1 among idol groups, followed by BTS at No. 2 and BLACKPINK at No. 3.
The rankings combine boy groups and girl groups and are calculated using factors including consumer participation, media coverage, communication, and community activity.
For RESCENE, the institute said frequently associated terms in its link analysis included *“prove,” “become a fan,”* and *“support.”* Popular keywords included *Love Attack*, *Pretty Girl*, and *Hello, I’m Woni, nice to meet you*.
RESCENE also recorded a positive reaction rate of 94.92 percent in the institute’s positive and negative sentiment analysis.
The September rankings were based on 112,825,617 pieces of idol group related big data collected from August 16 to September 16. This represented a 2.22 percent decrease compared with the 115,388,244 pieces analyzed for August.
ATEEZ ranked No. 4, followed by CORTIS at No. 5, SEVENTEEN at No. 6, Stray Kids at No. 7, IVE at No. 8, BIGBANG at No. 9, and Red Velvet at No. 10.
The Top 30 for September were RESCENE, BTS, BLACKPINK, ATEEZ, CORTIS, SEVENTEEN, Stray Kids, IVE, BIGBANG, Red Velvet, izna, EXO, TWICE, i-dle, KiiiKiii, aespa, ILLIT, NMIXX, INFINITE, Apink, Girls’ Generation, ENHYPEN, Wanna One, SHINee, ITZY, Super Junior, Hearts2Hearts, OH MY GIRL, BTOB, and NCT.
With RESCENE taking No. 1 ahead of two of K-pop’s biggest global acts, the September ranking marks a notable result for the rising girl group.
