RESCENE member Minami revealed just how much her life has changed following the sudden rise in popularity of the group’s song Love Attack.

Minami is set to appear on the September 16 broadcast of MBC’s Radio Star, marking her first solo variety show appearance without the other RESCENE members since Love Attack began gaining renewed attention.

According to Minami, the group’s growing popularity has led to much bigger opportunities, including an unexpected number of advertising offers.

She revealed that RESCENE has received more than 100 advertising proposals as interest in the group continues to grow.

The change has also become noticeable during university festival appearances. Minami explained that in the past, the members sometimes had to ask audiences whether they knew RESCENE. Now, fans recognize the group first and even sing along to their songs.

Her fellow members were also excited when they learned she would be appearing alone on Radio Star.

Minami recalled them telling her, “You’ve really become a celebrity now,” and “That’s great.”

The appearance is particularly meaningful for Minami because she has watched Radio Star since she began studying Korean. Due to the show’s fast paced conversations, she said she once considered being able to understand it something like the “final stage” of learning Korean.

Minami’s solo variety appearance comes as RESCENE continues to attract wider attention following the viral rise of Love Attack, with the singer’s revelation of more than 100 advertising offers showing how quickly the group’s visibility has grown.
