BTS and football star Son Heung Min have finally shared a full group photo together following the group’s Los Angeles concert, bringing two major Korean global stars together in one memorable moment.
Son Heung Min, who currently plays for LAFC, attended the second night of BTS’s four shows at SoFi Stadium. During the concert, he appeared on the venue’s large screen and waved to the crowd.
After the show, Son met RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook backstage and posed for a photo with all seven BTS members.
On September 9, RM shared the photo through his Instagram Story, and Jungkook later reposted it. LAFC also shared an image from the meeting on its official account with the simple caption, “ICONIC.”
The reunion quickly caught attention because of Son’s known friendship with V. Their connection has previously been highlighted publicly, including when V sent Son a birthday message and the football star shared it on his own social media.
Fans also noticed a playful connection between BTS’s seven members and Son’s famous number 7 jersey, with some celebrating the meeting as a rare crossover between Korean football and K-pop.
The backstage photo arrived as BTS completed a highly successful North American tour. According to the report, the group performed 31 shows across 12 cities for approximately 1.92 million attendees.
Their four Los Angeles concerts were all sold out. BTS has now reportedly performed eight times at SoFi Stadium overall, drawing a combined audience of around 496,000 and setting a record for the most concerts held by an artist at the venue.
After closing another major chapter of their North American tour, BTS’s reunion with Son Heung Min gave fans one more standout moment from their Los Angeles run.
