Actor Ha Seok Jin surprised the cast of JTBC’s Please Take Care of My Refrigerator since 2014 after several long-expired food items were discovered in his refrigerator.
During the August 23 broadcast, hosts Kim Sung Joo and Ahn Jung Hwan inspected Ha Seok Jin’s refrigerator. At first, they were relieved to see that the inside looked relatively clean and organized.
However, the mood quickly changed when they found food that had passed its expiration date by nearly 10 years.
More expired items were discovered afterward, prompting Kim Poong to ask, “Are you the type who has a hard time throwing things away?”
Ha Seok Jin responded casually, “You don’t constantly search through your refrigerator all the time, right?”
He then joked about accidentally eating expired food in the past, saying, “I actually ate something without realizing it was expired, but nothing happened to me. I think my immune system is getting stronger.”
His lighthearted response drew laughter from the cast, while the unusually old food became one of the most talked-about moments from the episode.
