BTS member Jimin received a warm welcome in Argentina as local fans continued their Jimtober celebrations with special birthday projects during the group's ARIRANG world tour.
On October 21 (local time), BTS performed at the Estadio Único Diego Armando Maradona in La Plata, Argentina, where fans prepared a series of displays to celebrate Jimin's birthday and his visit to the country.
Although Jimin's birthday was on October 13, fans extended their celebrations throughout October, turning the group's Argentina concerts into another special moment for the singer.
The celebration, known as Jimtober, combines Jimin's name with October and has become a tradition among his supporters.
For this year's celebration, Argentine fans organized a project called JIMTOBER EN ARGENTINA, installing seven LED advertisements featuring Jimin's photos and videos across La Plata and Buenos Aires.
Fans also decorated areas along the route to the concert venue with banners carrying messages of love, appreciation, and encouragement.
According to Argentine media outlet El Editor Platense, Jimin's supporters filled the roads leading to the stadium with welcoming banners ahead of BTS's performance.
Some banners featured heartfelt messages, including "You are our sunshine" and "Jimin is truly amazing."
Other messages expressed appreciation for his performances during the ARIRANG world tour.
One banner read, "We are so proud and moved by you during the ARIRANG tour."
Another encouraged the singer to look after his health, saying, "Please take good care of yourself."
The messages showed how fans wanted to celebrate not only Jimin's birthday but also his hard work and dedication throughout the tour.
The LED advertisements and banners also helped create a welcoming atmosphere for Jimin ahead of BTS's concerts in Argentina.
Rather than limiting the celebration to a single day, local ARMY continued their birthday tributes as Jimin traveled with the group for their world tour.
BTS's Argentina concert schedule also included performances on October 23 and 24 in La Plata, giving local fans more opportunities to support the members.
With seven LED displays, welcoming banners, and messages of appreciation, Argentine ARMY turned Jimin's visit into another highlight of the ongoing Jimtober celebrations.
The special projects reflected the continued support Jimin receives from international fans as BTS brings its ARIRANG world tour to audiences around the world.
