BIGBANG member G-Dragon gave fans a behind-the-scenes look at his appearance at the 48th session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee.
On August 5, G-Dragon uploaded a vlog titled G-DRAGON – The 48th UNESCO World Heritage Committee | A day in GD’s life through his personal social media account.
The video followed his visit to the opening ceremony at BEXCO in Busan, where he attended as an official promotional ambassador.
While his speech focused on protecting world heritage and building a peaceful future, the singer showed a more casual and playful side after the event.
Before leaving, G-Dragon signed a large display and added the Busan dialect message, “Oppa came and went,” drawing attention for the lighthearted contrast with the formal ceremony.
During his speech, G-Dragon thanked UNESCO and the people attending the event. He described Busan as “an amazing city that transformed the painful history of war into a place of peace and hope.”
He continued, “Protecting heritage is not only about preserving the past. It is also about creating peace for the future.”
G-Dragon also shared his belief that art can help protect future world heritage. He said, “Art moves all of our hearts, and when those hearts come together, they can change the world.”
He added that he hopes to support efforts to protect cultural sites threatened by war and the climate crisis.
His event styling also attracted attention. G-Dragon appeared with bright blond hair, a white suit, a blue pocket square, and nail art inspired by the South Korean flag.
