Hwasa narrowly avoids a camera hitting her face during concert but calmly continues performing as fans praise her professionalism

MAMAMOO’s Hwasa is receiving praise for staying calm after an unexpected situation nearly caused her to be hit in the face during a concert.

MAMAMOO held their solo concert, MAMAMOO 2026 World Tour [4WARD] in Singapore, at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on July 31.

During her performance of the solo song So Cute, Hwasa sat on a chair near the standing area while singing live for fans.

As a camera operator moved nearby, the operator appeared to lose balance, causing the camera to suddenly tilt toward Hwasa’s face.

Hwasa quickly moved her head away and avoided contact. Despite the surprising moment, she continued smiling, encouraged the audience, and completed the performance without showing signs of distress.

A video of the incident later gained attention online, with fans praising her calm response. Some commented, “She really is a professional,” “I am so glad she was not hurt,” and “She must have been surprised, but it was impressive how she immediately continued the performance.”

MAMAMOO is continuing its world tour with scheduled concerts in Manila and several other international cities.
