BLACKPINK’s Jennie has reached No. 1 on a Billboard radio chart in the United States.
According to the latest chart released on July 27 local time, Dracula, Jennie’s collaboration with Australian artist Tame Impala, ranked first on Billboard’s Adult Pop Airplay chart.
The ranking is based on how often songs are played across 40 adult pop radio stations in the United States. Because of this, the chart is often seen as an important measure of a song’s popularity among general radio listeners.
Although many K-pop songs have reached high positions on Billboard’s main charts, only a limited number have achieved similar results on U.S. radio rankings.
Dracula is now the second K-pop-related song to top the Adult Pop Airplay chart, following Golden from the film KPop Demon Hunters.
