Woo Do Hwan has renewed his exclusive contract with Blitzway Entertainment, extending his partnership with the agency as he continues expanding his career through major streaming projects.
On July 22, Blitzway Entertainment CEO Hong Min Ki confirmed the renewal and praised the actor’s distinctive screen presence.
Hong Min Ki said, “Woo Do Hwan is an actor who has developed his own unique style through his powerful energy and strong acting skills.”
He added, “We are happy to continue working together based on the trust we have built over the years. We will fully support him so that he can show his strengths even more widely on the global stage.”
Woo Do Hwan recently strengthened his international presence through the Disney+ original series Made in Korea. He played Baek Ki Hyun, an elite military officer determined to follow his own path outside the influence of his older brother, portrayed by Hyun Bin.
He also returned as Kim Gun Woo in the second season of the Netflix series Bloodhounds. The actor took on more demanding action scenes while showing the character’s deeper emotions in the expanded story.
His performance earned him the Special Acting Award in the OTT category at the 46th Golden Cinematography Awards in June.
Following his contract renewal, Woo Do Hwan is preparing for another major project in the second season of Made in Korea, which is scheduled to be released in the second half of this year.
The upcoming season will take place nine years after the earlier story, with Baek Ki Hyun expected to play an important role between Baek Ki Tae and Jang Gun Young, portrayed by Jung Woo Sung.
With his renewed partnership, Blitzway Entertainment said it plans to continue supporting Woo Do Hwan as he takes on new projects in South Korea and abroad.
