RESCENE members Minami and Woni shared both humorous and emotional stories in a preview for the upcoming episode of Salon Drip.
The TEO YouTube channel released the preview on July 21, ahead of the episode scheduled to air on July 28.
During the conversation, host Jang Do Yeon asked the members why they trusted their agency CEO after reportedly being personally recruited by him.
Minami jokingly replied, “I came because I was fooled by what the CEO said.”
She then revealed his ambitious promise, saying, “The CEO told me, ‘I will make you into BLACKPINK. I will make you into TWICE.’”
The mood became even more playful when Jang Do Yeon asked what kind of business the CEO had previously operated.
Woni answered, “He ran a children’s café.”
Jang Do Yeon responded with a laugh, “That must be why he is good at handling children.”
However, the preview later took an emotional turn when Woni was asked what she hoped to do after receiving her first payment.
Holding back tears, Woni said, “I want to buy my mother beef at least once.”
She added, “I want to buy it for her with money that I earned myself, just as she did for me.”
Her answer also moved Jang Do Yeon to tears.
Trying to lighten the emotional moment, Woni asked, “Do people cry more as they get older?”
Jang Do Yeon playfully replied, “How old are you? Have you ever been over 40?”
The full episode of Salon Drip featuring Minami and Woni will be released on July 28.
