TWICE member Tzuyu is drawing attention after reports revealed that her parents established an entertainment company in Taiwan last year.
According to Taiwanese media reports released on July 14, Tzuyu’s parents completed the registration of a company called Weihai Entertainment.
The company reportedly covers several areas of the entertainment business, including artist management, music distribution, video production, advertising, concerts, clothing, and cosmetics.
Tzuyu’s mother is said to serve as the company’s representative, while her father, Zhou Yi Cheng, reportedly holds an auditor position.
The news has led to speculation that the company may be connected to Tzuyu’s future career plans. Interest has grown further as discussions continue over TWICE’s contract renewal with JYP Entertainment.
However, no official announcement has confirmed that Tzuyu plans to leave JYP Entertainment or begin independent activities through her parents’ company. The reports are currently based on interpretations from local media and industry sources.
JYP Entertainment has reportedly stated, “Nothing has been decided yet, and discussions are ongoing.”
Tzuyu debuted as a member of TWICE in 2015 and gained global popularity through hit songs including “CHEER UP,” “TT,” “What is Love?” and “Feel Special.”
She also expanded her solo career by releasing her first mini album last year.
