BTS member Jin is drawing attention after a Gucci jacket featured in his latest campaign was marked sold out online shortly after the campaign was revealed.
French magazine Paris Select Book reported that the black leather rider jacket Jin wore for Gucci’s new Primavera campaign was listed as “sold out online” on Gucci’s website by the day after the campaign was unveiled.
The jacket reportedly carries a price of 9,900 USD in the United States and 7,900 euros in France, making the speed of the sellout particularly notable.
The Primavera campaign, released on August 25, features Jin in a black leather jacket with embossed detailing. Paris Select Book highlighted the strong attention surrounding the item and pointed to Jin’s campaign appearance as a factor that may have helped drive interest in the product.
The outlet noted that celebrity-worn fashion pieces selling out is not unusual, but said the combination of the jacket’s high price and how quickly it became unavailable showed the strong consumer attention surrounding Jin. Harper’s Bazaar Korea also reported on the jacket selling out shortly after Jin was seen wearing it.
Jin became a global brand ambassador for Gucci in 2024 and has since appeared in several campaigns and major activities for the Italian fashion house.
According to the report, Jin has also generated significant online interest around Gucci’s Primavera campaign, appearing prominently in searches and social media discussions connected to the collection.
The latest sellout adds another example of the strong attention Jin’s fashion appearances can generate, particularly as his partnership with Gucci continues to expand globally.
