BTS member Jimin gained attention from both music and sports fans after playfully imitating football star Erling Haaland during the group’s concert in Munich, Germany.
The moment began during BTS’s sound check at Allianz Arena on July 11. A fan held up a poster featuring Thor, Manchester City striker Erling Haaland, and Jimin, who were grouped together because of their long blond hair.
The poster described Thor as the “God of Thunder,” Haaland as the “God of Football,” and Jimin as “Our God.”
After noticing the sign, Jimin sat down, pointed to each person on the poster, and smiled as he read the descriptions.
Later, during the main concert, Jimin entertained fans by copying Haaland’s famous walking style. The playful moment quickly spread across social media and attracted attention beyond the K pop community.
ESPN Mexico shared the clip on its official social media account and wrote, “Haalandmania has reached BTS.” The outlet added, “After seeing a Haaland sign, Jimin perfectly imitated Haaland during the concert.”

The viral moment also led to unexpected online trends. “Jimin” appeared in the sports category on X, while “Haaland” trended in the music category.
Chilean radio network LOS40 Chile also joined the discussion by sharing close up photos of Jimin and Haaland’s blond hair. The post used Jimin’s solo song “Who” as background music and included the words “Blonde Time.”
Jimin’s lighthearted parody brought together BTS fans and football followers, showing how one brief concert moment could quickly become a global social media topic.
