The “Goblin” cast is proving that the drama’s popularity is still strong even 10 years later.

On the July 5 broadcast of tvN’s “Brilliant Because We Are Together Goblin 10th Anniversary Trip”, Gong Yoo, Lee Dong Wook, Kim Go Eun, and Yoo In Na continued their memory trip to Gangneung to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the hit drama “Guardian: The Lonely and Great God”, also known as “Goblin”.

The episode recorded an average rating of 3.6% and a peak of 4.9% among households in the Seoul metropolitan area. It also ranked No. 1 in its time slot among cable and general programming channels for tvN’s target 20 to 49 audience, showing the drama’s lasting popularity.

During the episode, the cast stayed at “Kkaebi House,” a space filled with memorable items from “Goblin”, including the red door, Eun Tak’s school uniform, the Grim Reaper’s list, and Sunny’s jade ring. Lee Dong Wook also revealed that he had kept his Grim Reaper costume for 10 years, while Yoo In Na brought out a script signed by the cast.

The reunion became even more meaningful when Kim Byung Chul, Lee El, and Park Kyung Hye joined the 10th anniversary party. The cast warmly welcomed them, saying, “You look exactly the same as back then” and “It feels so amazing to be together like this.”

Gong Yoo also showed his cooking skills by preparing barbecue and aged kimchi stew with pork ribs, while the cast shared food and memories from filming. Kim Go Eun praised the meal, saying, “This is so delicious. This is crazy.”

The actors also looked back on the difficult filming days and how they supported each other. Yoo In Na shared, “Go Eun went through so much hardship,” adding that it was amazing how Kim Go Eun still smiled like a 19 year old girl in every scene.

As they talked about the drama’s lasting love from viewers, the cast agreed, “For some strange reason, it feels like there is an even stronger bond.”

Even after 10 years, “Goblin” continues to bring strong emotions to both the cast and viewers, proving why it remains one of the most loved Korean dramas.
