CORTIS is proving its strong popularity on Korean and global music charts.
According to Melon’s June monthly chart released on July 1, CORTIS’ title track “REDRED” from their 2nd mini album “GREENGREEN” ranked No. 2.
The song previously entered the monthly chart at No. 3 before climbing one spot, setting a new record as the highest ranked boy group song of 2026.
The result is drawing attention because CORTIS is still a rookie group with less than one year since debut.
Despite that, members Martin, James, Ju Hoon, Sung Hyun, and Gun Ho have now stayed near the top of Melon’s monthly chart for two months in a row.
Melon’s monthly chart is based on music scores such as streaming and downloads from the first day to the last day of each month. Since duplicate users are not counted, the chart is often viewed as a sign of wider public interest.
“REDRED” also made history as the first boy group song in 2 years and 3 months to enter the top 2 of Melon’s monthly chart since March 2024. Over the past 10 years, only five boy groups, including CORTIS, have reached No. 2 or higher on the chart.
The song has been showing steady success since its release on April 20. It reached No. 1 on Melon’s daily chart for the first time on May 19 and remained in the top 3 for 43 days until June 30.
CORTIS is also performing well outside Melon. “REDRED” ranked No. 1 for two weeks in a row on YouTube Music Korea’s Weekly Top Songs chart for the tracking period of June 19 to 25.
On the U.S. Billboard chart dated July 4, the song ranked No. 65 on the Global 200 and No. 35 on Global Excl. U.S., staying on both charts for 9 straight weeks.
Their 2nd mini album “GREENGREEN” also continued its Billboard success, ranking No. 94 on the Billboard 200 and remaining on the chart for 7 consecutive weeks.
Meanwhile, CORTIS is preparing for their first solo tour, “2026 CORTIS TOUR PUT YOUR PHONE DOWN”. The group will also perform at Lollapalooza Chicago as the only K-pop boy group in this year’s lineup.
