BLACKPINK’s Jennie became a hot topic after performing as the final headliner at “The Governors Ball Music Festival 2026” in New York on June 7 local time.

During her 60 minute set, Jennie performed 17 songs, including “Filter,” “Damn Right,” “Mantra,” “Handlebars,” and “Like JENNIE.” She also surprised fans by revealing an unreleased new song for the first time, earning loud cheers from the crowd.

However, after the show, many online users also focused on Jennie’s unique tooth accessory. Jennie wore custom grillz with a blue rose design, which stood out under the stage lights.

The piece was reportedly made by Los Angeles based private jeweler Mark Cruz. He shared that the grillz were created with Jennie for the Governors Ball stage and described them as “a fully custom 14K white gold piece with blue rose enamel details and VVS1 grade diamonds.”

The blue rose detail drew extra attention because fans know it as one of Jennie’s favorite symbols.

Reactions online were divided. Some fans praised the look, saying, “Since Jennie wore it, it will become a trend again,” “The blue rose detail is so pretty,” and “She is truly a fashion icon.”

Others had mixed opinions, saying, “From far away, it looks like a cavity,” “I thought her tooth had decayed,” and “It is pretty up close, but a little too much from far away.”

After Governors Ball, Jennie is set to continue performing at several global festivals, including Roskilde Festival in Denmark, Open’er Festival in Poland, Mad Cool Festival in Spain, Lollapalooza Chicago, and Summer Sonic 2026 in Japan.
