CBX member Xiumin’s scheduled appearance at a Japanese event has been put on hold after his agency reported problems in the contract process.

On June 5, INB100 shared its position regarding Xiumin’s canceled appearance at “Asia Culture Festival 2026,” which is set to take place on June 9 and 10 at Tokyo Garden Theater in Japan.

The agency said, “Regarding Xiumin’s event appearance, improper matters were confirmed during the contract process. After discussion between our company and the event organizer, we decided to put Xiumin’s appearance on hold.”

Reports previously stated that Xiumin’s appearance had been canceled and that New of The Boyz would appear instead.

INB100 explained that the issue involved a company allegedly pretending to be Xiumin’s agency. According to the agency, the event organizer signed a contract on April 27, 2026 with another company, not INB100, to invite Xiumin. INB100 claimed that the company listed itself as “Xiumin’s agency” in the contract and misled the organizer as if it had an exclusive contract with the artist.

The agency added that after the Japanese event organizer checked the matter, it confirmed the company was not Xiumin’s actual agency and had falsely claimed authority. After learning this, the organizer reportedly treated it as a clear fraudulent act and canceled the contract immediately.

INB100 stressed that Xiumin was not responsible for the issue, stating, “We clearly state that artist Xiumin himself has no problem or fault regarding this matter.”

The agency also asked people not to misunderstand the event organizer, saying the organizer was also a victim that believed the contract was official and prepared the event in good faith.

INB100 continued, “We view this incident, which violated the rights of our artist and caused confusion among fans, as a very serious criminal act.” The agency said it is currently checking the facts through legal representatives and plans to take strong legal action without leniency against those involved.

Meanwhile, Xiumin, who is signed under INB100, a label under ONE HUNDRED, recently notified the agency of the termination of his exclusive contract, citing issues such as unpaid settlement money.
