Netflix series Teach You A Lesson has entered the platform’s all-time top 10 most popular non-English television series.

The drama recorded 60.2 million views within eight weeks of its release. Netflix calculates views by dividing a title’s total viewing time by its complete running time.

Teach You A Lesson is now the fourth Korean series to reach the all-time top 10, following Seasons 1, 2, and 3 of Squid Game. This means four of Netflix’s 10 most-watched non-English series are Korean productions.

The series ranked No. 1 globally for four consecutive weeks after its release. During its second week, it entered Netflix’s top 10 rankings in 91 countries. It has also remained within the weekly global top 10 after eight weeks.

Based on the webtoon of the same name, Teach You A Lesson is set in a fictional world where a government agency is created to protect teachers and support people affected by serious problems in schools.

The series addresses topics such as school violence, declining teacher authority, and conflicts involving parents. Its continued ranking performance shows strong interest from Netflix viewers around the world.
