Kim Myung Soo is returning with a new romantic comedy role.

On June 5, the upcoming drama “Empathy Cells” released new stills of Kim Myung Soo as Cha Eun Hwan. The series will be released through Lifetime, LG U+tv Mobile, and Disney+.

Empathy Cells” tells the story of a woman who refuses to understand empathy and a man who carries too much of other people’s emotions. After a surreal event called “emotional transfer,” the two begin entering each other’s worlds and slowly learn about emotions again.

Kim Myung Soo plays Cha Eun Hwan, a popular psychological counselor known for his unique counseling style.

Cha Eun Hwan is able to understand other people’s emotions deeply, but he suddenly gets caught in an unexpected crisis.

Through this situation, he meets a woman who makes him face the emotions he had forgotten.

The newly released stills show Kim Myung Soo’s warm and serious charm. In one photo, he wears a neat cardigan and gives a soft smile, creating the image of a trustworthy counselor.

In another still, he looks at someone with a tense expression. His eyes show mixed emotions such as worry and fear, raising curiosity about what kind of story Cha Eun Hwan will face in the drama.

The drama is also expected to show Cha Eun Hwan’s emotional change after meeting top star Yoo Ji An, played by Kang Min Ah.

While Cha Eun Hwan has spent his life helping other people with their pain, viewers are curious to see how he will begin facing his own wounds.

“Empathy Cells” is scheduled to air in July.
