LE SSERAFIM brought laughter with their honest confidence and unexpected “tearful selfie” stories.
On the June 1 broadcast of SBS’s “Really, But Seriously,” LE SSERAFIM appeared as a full group following their comeback with their second full length album. The members joined special MC Kang So Ra and talked about their looks, confidence, and funny personal habits.
During the show, Tak Jae Hoon asked, “Who is the No. 1 beauty among the five members?” Surprisingly, all five LE SSERAFIM members chose themselves without hesitation. Tak Jae Hoon reacted, “You guys really have no pretense,” making everyone laugh.
Kang So Ra also joined the fun when Lee Su Ji asked who she thought was the prettiest among the members. Kang So Ra chose herself and joked, “When you get older, you have sexy charm.”
The conversation then turned to moments when the members admire their own faces. Kim Chae Won said she likes herself most when her makeup looks good, adding that this is when she turns on a live broadcast. Huh Yun Jin joked, “When Chae Won unnie starts a live broadcast, I think, ‘Her makeup must have turned out well today.’”
The funniest topic came when the members talked about “tearful selfies.” Sakura said, “When I cry after watching a movie, I think I look pretty. So I take a photo.” Kazuha agreed and shared that she also took a selfie after crying alone at a movie theater because she wanted to remember the moment.
Kim Chae Won added that she does not cry often, so when she does, it feels special enough to take a photo. Huh Yun Jin then surprised everyone by revealing that she has a separate “tearful selfie folder,” which she showed on broadcast for the first time.
When Kang So Ra asked Hong Eunchae what she thought about her members’ tearful selfies, Hong Eunchae gave a firm and honest answer, saying, “I really don’t understand,” making the studio burst into laughter.
The episode ended on a light note as Kang So Ra said that if she had joined LE SSERAFIM when she was younger, she thinks she would have been the group’s variety show member.
