BTS’s Jungkook became a major topic online after the group won Artist of the Year at the 52nd American Music Awards.

Following the awards ceremony, Jungkook drew strong attention on social media and search platforms. He reportedly ranked 3rd worldwide on X, formerly Twitter, and also entered the top real time trends in the United States.

Among BTS members, he recorded the highest ranking in several major trend categories.

Jungkook also gained high attention on Google. In the “Related Topics” section, “Jung Kook South Korean singer and songwriter” ranked 1st, showing his strong global popularity.

A small moment from the awards show also became a hot topic among fans. While greeting fans in the audience, Jungkook accidentally dropped his ring.

Fans quickly pointed out where it had fallen, and Jungkook responded with a signal before later finding the ring under the audience seats.

Aside from the AMAs buzz, Jungkook was also ranked 1st among K pop solo artists as the “most influential Hallyu figure” in the 2026 Overseas Hallyu Survey, released on the 24th.

He was also named in the Brain Candy Books series and in the upcoming Jungkook edition of My Itty Bitty Bio.

Jungkook has continued to build his global presence through several achievements. He was included in AOL’s list of the “Top 15 most famous people in the world,” won at the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards and the 2024 People’s Choice Awards, and was also recognized in lists by Rolling Stone, Billboard, The Hollywood Reporter, Audacy, and Stacker.
