BTS makes another global chart statement as SWIM lands seventh number 1 on Billboard Global Excl. US

BTS is continuing its strong run on the Billboard charts with their latest title track, SWIM.

According to Billboard’s latest chart dated May 30, BTS’s SWIM, the title track from their 5th full album Arirang, stayed at number 1 on the Global Excl. US chart for a third straight week. This also marks the song’s 7th time at the top of the chart, giving BTS one of the strongest number 1 records of the year.

SWIM also remained active on several other major Billboard charts. The song ranked number 10 on the Global 200 and number 55 on the Hot 100. It also placed number 16 on Adult Contemporary, number 12 on Pop Airplay, number 17 on Adult Pop Airplay, and number 26 on Radio Songs.

BTS’s album Arirang also continued to perform well. The album ranked number 10 on the Billboard 200 for its 9th week on the chart. It also placed number 4 on Top Album Sales, number 17 on Top Streaming Albums, and number 13 on Vinyl Albums.

The group also kept a strong presence on the World Albums chart. Proof ranked number 4 and remained on the chart for its 206th week. MAP OF THE SOUL: 7 THE JOURNEY ranked number 14, LOVE YOURSELF 轉 Tear ranked number 16, and LOVE YOURSELF 承 Her ranked number 25.

BTS also received a new certification in France, as SNEP announced that ON earned Gold certification after reaching 15 million streams.

The group recently won three awards at the American Music Awards on May 25, including Artist of the Year. Their 5th full album Arirang was reportedly nominated after only six days of tracking and won in all nominated categories.
