BTS takes No. 1 in May singer brand reputation rankings as Lim Young Woong and Cortis follow in the Top 3

BTS has taken the top spot in the May 2026 singer brand reputation rankings.

According to the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute, BTS ranked No. 1 in the singer brand reputation rankings for May, followed by Lim Young Woong at No. 2 and Cortis at No. 3.

The institute analyzed 95,308,896 pieces of big data from April 23 to May 23, 2026. This was 22.32% lower than the 122,699,048 pieces of data analyzed in April.

BTS, made up of RM, Jin, Suga, J Hope, Ji Min, V, and Jungkook, recorded a brand reputation index of 7,132,535. Their score included a participation index of 269,026, a media index of 613,756, a communication index of 2,556,765, and a community index of 3,692,989. Compared to their April score of 9,262,989, the group’s index fell by 23.00%, but they still held the No. 1 spot.

Lim Young Woong ranked No. 2 with a brand reputation index of 4,918,515, while Cortis, made up of Martin, James, Ju Hoon, Sung Hyun, and Gun Ho, followed at No. 3 with 4,313,084.

Koo Chang Hwan of the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute explained that the singer brand category saw an overall drop from April. He said brand consumption fell by 9.62%, brand issues fell by 32.91%, brand communication fell by 20.34%, and brand spread fell by 19.91%.

He added that BTS ranked No. 1 while meeting ARMY around the world through their world tour. Lim Young Woong ranked No. 2 as he continues making records with Hero Generation, while Cortis ranked No. 3 with strong impact in the global music market.

Han Ro Ro ranked No. 4, while IVE completed the Top 5.
