BTS’s Jin became a hot topic after his standout performance at Stanford Stadium.
On May 18 KST, BTS held the second show of their BTS WORLD TOUR “ARIRANG” at Stanford Stadium in San Francisco, where Jin drew loud cheers from fans with his live vocals, stage presence, and playful fan service.
The concert also marked a major moment for BTS, as they became the first artist to hold 3 shows at Stanford Stadium. The venue had previously hosted an artist concert by Coldplay, making BTS’s record even more meaningful.

During the “Dynamite” dance break, Jin surprised the crowd by putting down his microphone and showing a cartwheel move. He also kept the energy high throughout the concert by interacting with the audience and giving a lively performance.
One of the most talked about moments came during “Idol,” when Jin moved around the venue while holding a large flag and winked at fans. The moment quickly spread online, with fans calling him “flag Seok Jin.” It also gained attention after Netflix Philippines’ official account mentioned it.
Jin’s impact was also seen on social media. After the May 17 Stanford show, “JIN SLAYS IN THE BAY” trended on X in several countries, including the United States. After the May 18 show, “JIN STANFORD TAKEOVER” also entered real time trends in multiple countries.
BTS is set to continue the tour with another show at the same venue on May 20.
