
BTS’s Jimin ranked No. 1 in the May 2026 boy group individual brand reputation rankings, proving his steady popularity.
According to the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute, the May rankings were based on 73,323,673 pieces of brand big data collected from 755 boy group members from April 16 to May 16. The data was analyzed through participation, media, communication, and community indexes.
For May 2026, BTS Jimin took 1st place, followed by Wanna One Park Ji Hoon in 2nd place and BTS Jungkook in 3rd place.

Jimin recorded a total brand reputation index of 6,447,417. His score included a participation index of 235,140, media index of 532,488, communication index of 2,688,731, and community index of 2,991,057. Compared to his April score of 11,644,101, his index fell by 44.63%, but he still held the top spot.
Wanna One’s Park Ji Hoon ranked 2nd with a brand reputation index of 5,510,360, down 60.65% from April. BTS’s Jungkook ranked 3rd with 5,494,822, down 39.96% from the previous month.
BTS also showed strong presence in the top 5, with Jin ranking 4th with 3,782,172 and V ranking 5th with 3,673,361.


The top 10 for May were BTS Jimin, Wanna One Park Ji Hoon, BTS Jungkook, BTS Jin, BTS V, BIGBANG G Dragon, BTS RM, TVXQ Yunho, BTS J Hope, and BTS Suga.
Koo Chang Hwan of the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute said, “As a result of the May 2026 boy group individual brand reputation big data analysis, BTS Jimin ranked No. 1.”
He also explained that the overall boy group individual brand big data decreased compared to April. According to the detailed analysis, brand consumption, brand issue, brand communication, and brand spread all showed declines.
For Jimin’s brand, high ranking words in the link analysis included “perfect,” “go wild,” and “break through.” In the keyword analysis, “ARMY,” “world tour,” and “Mexico” ranked highly. His positive ratio was analyzed at 92.97%.
