BLACKPINK member Jennie is drawing attention for her strong business results after setting up her own company.
According to the Financial Supervisory Service’s electronic disclosure system, OA Entertainment paid Jennie a total of 23.8 billion won in settlement payments over the past two years. The amount includes 14.3 billion won in 2024 and about 9.5 billion won last year.
Jennie founded OA Entertainment after becoming independent from YG Entertainment for her solo activities. The company name OA stands for “Odd Atelier”.
The report shows that Jennie has been able to turn her creative work and global popularity into strong earnings under her own management structure.
OA Entertainment also showed fast growth. The company’s sales reportedly reached 23.8 billion won last year, marking a 26% increase from the year before.
Although operating profit temporarily decreased, this was seen as the result of early investments for business expansion, including staff infrastructure and commission fees.
Jennie owns 100% of OA Entertainment, while her mother serves as the company’s CEO.
Her financial results are also being linked to her global influence. Jennie is currently listed as a headliner at seven major festivals around the world and continues to build her presence in Asia, North America, and Europe.
She was also named as the only K pop star on TIME’s “100 most influential people in the world in 2026”.
An industry official said, “Jennie is practicing responsible management by putting in her own funds, while also proving her influence as a global pop star directly through sales”.
The official added that her success is “a rare case” of an artist building her own style outside a large agency system.
