BTS’ ‘SWIM’ stays unstoppable on Billboard global charts for 6 straight weeks

BTS is continuing its strong run on the U.S. Billboard charts with their latest title track ‘SWIM.’

According to Billboard’s latest chart dated May 9, ‘SWIM,’ the title track from BTS’ 5th full album ‘ARIRANG,’ ranked No. 2 on both the ‘Global 200’ and ‘Global Excl. U.S.’ charts. The song has now remained in the top 3 for 6 straight weeks, showing its steady worldwide popularity.

The group also stayed strong on Billboard’s main charts. ‘ARIRANG’ ranked No. 5 on the ‘Billboard 200,’ keeping its place in the upper ranks for 6 weeks.

The album previously made history as the first release by a Korean artist to spend 3 straight weeks at No. 1 on the chart.

‘SWIM’ also ranked No. 32 on the ‘Hot 100,’ staying on the chart for its 6th week. The song continued to perform well across several other Billboard charts, including No. 16 on ‘Digital Song Sales,’ No. 19 on ‘Adult Contemporary,’ No. 12 on ‘Pop Airplay,’ No. 14 on ‘Adult Pop Airplay,’ and No. 24 on ‘Radio Songs.’

BTS’ album tracks are also showing strong results, with all 13 vocal songs from ‘ARIRANG’ staying on both global charts for 6 weeks.

Their 2017 track ‘Pied Piper’ also re entered ‘World Digital Song Sales’ at No. 9 after being performed during the group’s recent Tampa concert.

BTS is currently on their ‘ARIRANG’ North America tour, which includes 31 shows in 12 cities. After performing for around 100,000 fans in El Paso, the group will continue the tour in Mexico City starting May 7.
