
Rookie boy group CORTIS is gaining strong global attention only 8 months after debut, showing impressive chart performance with their latest release.
Their title track “REDRED” from the second mini album quickly reached No 1 on YouTube “Trending Worldwide” just one day after release on April 21.
The music video surpassed 3.2 million views within 24 hours and entered trending music charts in 24 countries and regions.
In North America, the song ranked No 22 on the US YouTube trending music chart and No 13 in Canada, showing growing interest in the region. Across Asia, it maintained No 1 in Taiwan and Vietnam, while also ranking high in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore.
The track also appeared on charts in Europe and the Middle East, reflecting wide global reach.
“REDRED” also performed strongly on iTunes, entering the Top Songs chart in 14 countries and reaching No 1 for two consecutive days in Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam.
At the same time, their previous album “COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES” showed unexpected strength by reaching No 1 on the Billboard “World Albums” chart dated April 25, eight months after release. It also re entered the “Top Album Sales” chart at No 7, with total sales surpassing 2.06 million, setting a record for a K pop debut album.
