Baekhyun is reportedly preparing to leave INB100, the company he founded, along with fellow EXO members Chen and Xiumin, following a contract dispute involving unpaid settlements and alleged violations.
According to reports, the three artists sent a formal notice in late March to INB100 CEO Cha Ga Won, requesting clarification on unpaid earnings and contract-related issues.
The notice also included their intention to terminate their contracts. However, even after waiting an additional two weeks, they reportedly did not receive a satisfactory response.
INB100 was originally established by Baekhyun as he prepared to operate independently from SM Entertainment.
In May 2024, the company became a subsidiary under One Hundred, led by Cha Ga Won and MC Mong. Since then, Cha Ga Won has taken a leading role in managing the company alongside other affiliated labels.
Reports claim that despite securing large advance payments through contracts using the artists’ intellectual property, the company faced serious financial difficulties, including unpaid settlements reportedly reaching billions of won.
It is also said that payments to staff and partners were delayed, making normal activities difficult for the artists.
In response, Cha Ga Won’s side stated, “We are working to normalize the company,” adding, “We will try to resolve the situation even through additional investment or personal funds.”
This situation follows a series of departures from companies under Cha Ga Won’s leadership, with several artists previously notifying contract terminations.
Meanwhile, Cha Ga Won is currently facing multiple legal complaints related to alleged fraud, with authorities reportedly investigating the case.
