Former ENHYPEN member Heeseung is starting a new chapter by changing his stage name to Evan and preparing for his solo activities.
On April 9, BELIFT LAB announced that Evan launched official social media accounts and revealed his first profile image.
In the photos, he presents a natural and simple look, with the agency explaining it shows “the most pure form of Evan before being defined or interpreted.”
Heeseung, who debuted in 2020 with ENHYPEN, has been recognized for his strong vocals, rap, and performance skills, as well as his work in songwriting and producing.
Speaking about his new name, he shared, “‘Evan’ is a name I have used since I was young, filled with precious memories,” adding that he wants to show it again with “a new mindset.”
He also expressed his direction as a solo artist, saying he plans to connect with fans through “music that fully captures my most honest and natural self.”
