BTS member Jungkook has addressed the recent controversy over his behavior during a live broadcast, offering an apology to fans while also sharing his honest thoughts on the situation.

On April 8, Jungkook spoke through a Weverse live stream and said, “I think I should apologize to ARMY about the recent live broadcast.”

He acknowledged that fans may have felt uncomfortable, adding, “Since I haven’t shown that side before, some of you may have felt uncomfortable. To those who felt that way, I’m sorry,” and promised that he would “be more careful in the future.”

However, he also made it clear that he does not fully see his actions as wrong. He stated, “Did I make a big mistake? I’m not sure,” explaining that such expressions are “something people in this field or on platforms like YouTube also do.”

Jungkook also responded to criticism, saying, “I don’t have much to say to people who are quick to criticize everything. Thank you for your interest,” showing his mixed feelings about the situation.

He continued by expressing his sincerity toward fans, saying, “I hope you know how I feel about ARMY. I’ve always been sincere,” and added that while he is “not a perfect person,” he is open to feedback if something feels uncomfortable.

He further shared concern that the situation might be misrepresented, saying, “I feel like this will be edited and posted in a provocative way,” and explained that while some may feel uncomfortable seeing such behavior on camera, he “does not think it is wrong itself.”

The controversy began after a previous live broadcast in February, where Jungkook was seen making a finger gesture and using strong language toward an acquaintance during a late-night stream, which later spread online and sparked debate.
